The Hummus:
- 1 red bell pepper
- 240 grams of cooked chickpeas
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 60 grams of tahini (sesame paste)
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 tablespoon of spices (paprika, herbes de Provence, thyme, to taste)
The Topping:
- 1 red bell pepper
- Olive oil
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- A 2-3 cm piece of fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons of nuts (pistachios, pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, to taste)
- Thyme
Preparation:
- Preparing the Peppers: Steam the peppers for 20 minutes. Once cooked, place them in a bowl and cover with a plate for 15 minutes. This trick makes peeling the peppers easier.
- Making the Hummus: Put one pepper and all the hummus ingredients in a blender. Blend until creamy and smooth.
